🌾 The Co-op Hub

Your central space for connecting with others to grow, raise, share, and thrive, together.

Welcome to the Co-op Hub — the heart of Arcadia’s grassroots economy. This is where members come together to form shared ownership models, exchange abundance, and build resilient, localized food systems one connection at a time.

Whether you’re a backyard gardener, a small-scale livestock keeper, a forager, or someone simply seeking a deeper connection to your food and community, this is your place.

🌱 What Happens Here:

  • Offer or join herd shares — cows, goats, sheep, and even bees.

  • Coordinate garden shares — split the work and the harvest.

  • Post about surplus — extra eggs, greens, seedlings, compost, or anything you’ve grown or raised.

  • Join or propose bulk buys — grains, seeds, animal feed, or soil amendments.

  • Start shared projects — community canning days, food forest installations, or micro-farm ventures.

  • Lend or borrow tools and equipment — like dehydrators, seeders, fencing tools, or apple presses.

This group is built on trust, transparency, and the belief that food should nourish more than just our bodies — it should feed our sense of place, purpose, and mutual care.

🛠 How to Use This Group:

  • Start your post with a keyword like #offer, #share, #trade, #wanted, or #bulkbuy to help others filter.

  • Include your location (city or region) to connect locally.

  • Be clear and respectful — this space works because we honor each other’s time, labor, and land.

📌 Example Posts:

  • #herdshare • Seeking 2 more families to join our raw goat milk co-op in Western NC.

  • #bulkbuy • Interested in splitting a 50 lb sack of organic oats from Azure Standard.

  • #offer • 2 dozen duck eggs available weekly, pickup in Ann Arbor.

Whether you're sowing seeds, milking goats, drying herbs, or just getting started, the Co-op Hub is here to help you do it with others by your side.

🌻 Let’s build a better food system — one rooted in cooperation, not competition.
